Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Lead Engineer with a strong background in Ubuntu to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while ensuring optimal performance and security. Relevant Experience should be 5 - 9 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Deploy: Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Ubuntu Expertise: Manage and optimize Ubuntu-based systems within the AWS environment.
Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Security: Ensure all cloud infrastructure components meet security standards and compliance requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize applications for the cloud and provide guidance on best practices.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as an AWS Engineer with a focus on Ubuntu systems.
Skills: Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture, proficiency in managing Ubuntu servers, and experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform,).
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash).
