Job Summary: -
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Designer - Civil 3D to join our team for water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in using Civil 3D software to design and draft civil engineering projects related to water supply, drainage, irrigation, and wastewater management. This role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 3D models using Civil 3D software for water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, canals, reservoirs, pumping stations, and drainage systems.
Develop detailed engineering drawings and layouts for water projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Work closely with project engineers to understand design requirements, provide technical inputs, and modify designs as necessary.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to collect data for design purposes and to ensure accurate representation of project sites.
Generate profiles, sections, and grading designs for water supply and drainage systems.
Prepare quantity take-offs and material specifications based on designs.
Review and update designs based on feedback from the engineering team and client requirements.
Ensure design quality by performing thorough checks and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Coordinate with other team members and departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements:

5+ years of relevant experience in designing and drafting water infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software is essential.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other relevant design tools would be benefitials.
Familiarity with hydraulic design principles and water distribution systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges and provide solutions.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
