Summary of the position:

As a Cloud & DevSecOPS Engineer, you ll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, managing & monitoring of PMC s application set in to suitable Cloud environment (AWS). Also, you should have some hands on around hybrid and public cloud Security, CloudFormation, SAM/Serverless framework and AWS based versioning, CI/CD and other DevOPS tools as you will be responsible to strate`gize and implement these concepts for PMC Products.

Key accountabilities:

- Able to manage the PMC client facing SAAS products infrastructure in AWS ecosystem in a hybrid model combined with some OnPrem infrastructure, different cloud provider like Azure and VPN tunnels set ups or Direct Connect between on prem data centres and AWS.

- Should be able to handle all aspects of Infrastructure landscape and network architecture (Server, network, Database, virtualization, web server, firewalls etc.)

- Fair understanding of IAAS, PAAS and SAAS models

- Able to manage complete Disaster recovery solutions for entire set of products and own backup restoration practices for all data and application services

- Ability to deploy, manage and monitor Web based applications and microservices on cloud based environment such as - Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure

- Help strategize and implement Serverless and DevOps Technologies & concepts , working with Development & Operations teams

- Able to design & execute cost effective and scalable Infrastructure model for PMC Products Applications set.

- Liaise with 3rd party service provide (i.e. Amzon , Windows) for subscription and costing

- Able to do right level of documentation & knowledge awareness for execution/roll-out scenarios.

- Ability to execute assigned tasks without assistance and able to work independently or at own

- Can conduct training or knowledge sharing sessions

- Can able to do RCA and Create reports

Skills and Experience | Essential :

- Minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure automation, deployment and support Client /Server and Web Applications hosted on Cloud

- Should have good understanding of all aspects of Infrastructure landscape and network architecture (Server, network, Database, virtualization, web server, firewalls etc.) - must

- Disaster recovery and Backup/Restoration of application and data servers - must

- Hands on experience in

- Amazon Compute services like EC2 and auto scaling groups must

- Load Balancer - Classic & Application must

- WAF

- Hands-on in AWS ecosystem for Networking & Security related services (VPC, Private/Public Subnets, Availability Zones, Regions, NACL, Security Groups etc.)

- User Management using IAM (Identity and access management) must

- AWS Account management AWS Organization & multi-account set up - preferred

- Storage Services like S3 (Simple Service Storage), RDS, DynamoDB, EBS(Elastic Block Store)

- AWS Elasticache -

- AMI(Amazon Machine Image)

- Cloud watch monitoring, CloudTrail

- AWS Cloudformation

- DNS concepts and AWS Route53

- Fair amount of DevOps concepts and AWS Tools knowledge (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Code Pipeline, Jenkins)

- Fair knowledge on Security and encryptions related services like KMS, Encryption SDK, SSM, STS, IAM

- Good knowledge and hands-on monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Splunk, Datadog etc.

Skills and Experience | Desirable :

- Knowledge on serverless or SAM framework

- Fair knowledge on serverless services like API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, SWF, Step functions

- AWS Cognito

- Fair knowledge about container orchestration services like ECS, EKS and Fargate

- Fair knowledge on AWS services billing and consulting services like AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS config
