The Senior Data Manager plays a crucial role by ensuring the highest standards of data quality measurement, monitoring, analysis, and remediation. With a primary focus on data quality, the Senior Data Manager adopts a data quality by design approach to drive excellence in data management. This role also involves expertise in master data management and data governance to support effective decision-making and operational efficiency. Develop and implement data quality measurement frameworks, methodologies, and tools to assess and monitor data quality across the organization. Conduct in-depth data quality analysis, identify data issues, and recommend appropriate remediation strategies to improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Drive the adoption of a data quality by design approach, integrating data quality controls and processes into system development life cycles and data management practices. Provide expert guidance and support in master data management, including data modeling, data mapping, data integration, and data cleansing activities. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data stewardship, data ownership, and data quality roles and responsibilities. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance data management capabilities across the organization, promoting a data-driven culture Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data quality tools and technologies are effectively implemented and utilized to support data management initiatives. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to data management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data quality and governance practices. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, data owners, and data custodians, to drive collaboration and alignment in data management efforts. Work closely with data stewards and data owners to define and enforce data quality standards and policies. knowledge and abilities Proven experience in data management, data quality measurement, and data analysis within a multinational network and IT services organization. education, qualifications, and certifications A bachelors degree in science, computers/IT, engineering or commerce. Professional Software Certifications on Data Management Analysis will be a plus. experience The right person for this role will be a seasoned expert in data management and have extensive experience of Data Governance, Master Data & Data quality.
