Ultraviolette's newly launched Shockwave electric motorcycle has garnered 1,000 bookings in 24 hours. The introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh has been extended to the next 1,000 buyers. Designed for both on-road and off-road use, the bike features a 14.5 bhp electric motor, delivers a peak torque of 505 Nm, and offers a range of 165 km.

A two-wheeler that accumulated Rs 1.61 lakh in fines for 311 traffic violations has been seized by Bengaluru Traffic Police. Despite numerous notices, the fines remained unpaid until the vehicle was flagged on social media. Legal action is now being taken against the owner.
