About the team

This position is for our IP Data Conversion team. IP Data conversion team manages conversions/deconversions across multiple FIS and third-party products and we develop legacy conversion tools to convert source data into FIS readable format. Team is primarily developing tools in Angular, Python and C# .Net. Team is also responsible for initiating and resolving SFTP requests.

What you will be doing:

Proficiency in configuring and managing routers and switches.
Knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP).
Ability to configure and manage SFTP servers and clients.
Knowledge of encryption and security best practices for file transfers.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

What you bring:

Typically, 2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience with routing and switching, SFTP.
Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Understanding of SFTP protocols and secure file transfer mechanisms.

Added bonus if you have:

Experience with Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) platform.
Ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot Globalscape EFT solutions.
Understanding of Globalscape s security features and compliance requirements.
