- Ensuring registration/modifications of IT hardware in IT Asset Management tool
- Ensuring proper hardware asset transactions inside center
- Ensuring proper write off with due approval for all IT hardware assets at their end-of-life cycle
- Ensuring proper disposal of IT hardware assets after end of their life cycle
- Ensuring replacement of IT hardware assets after disposal at the end of their life cycle with new IT hardware assets
- IT Hardware maintenance with third-party services ensuring smooth IT operations
- Quarterly verification of IT Assets ensuring Global KPI achieved - Success rate of IT hardware asset verification with 3 way match (physical vs. SAP vs asset manager tool)

Software Asset Management
- Defining Software Asset Management Process for center
- End to end life cycle management for all software locally managed in center including:
- Procurement of Software with proper license agreement
- Ensuring packaging of software if the number of installations are more than 5
- License management ensuring the number of installations should not be greater than number of licenses procured
- Removal of software from system if necessary
- End user support for software installations (manual installations), configurations and support in different functions like LAB, Sensory etc.
- Data management for software/applications
- Application Portfolio Management ensuring all applications is being used in center are listed with all necessary and required details
- Managing Microsoft Licensing allocation, reallocation as required.
- Achievement of Global KPI:
1. License reassessment performed in time
2. Asset Licensing Compliances

- Up to date APM (Application Portfolio Management) IT investment (CAPEX) budget & operational budget (OPEX) for Centre
- Preparing IT investment (capex) for center with due approval from Globe Business Solution for R&D and maintain the same
- Preparing IT operational budget (opex) with internal collaboration in centre and aligned with Globe Business Solution for R&D - Utilization of investment budget
- Utilization of operational budget IT Maintenance
- Ensuring physical security control is correctly applied for IT server room, communication room, switch room and store room
- Ensuring facility management (fire hydrant, air conditioning, Temperature control etc.) should be proper and maintained as per Globe data centre standard - Hazard due to physical security

- Ensuring vendor contact details, service level agreement and scope of work are defined and in place for all locally managed vendors related to IT

Service ownership:
- Is the main contact point for all solutions in IT portfolio, and deliver the service upon business satisfaction.
Renewal/Upgrade/Replacement of hardware (Servers, Workstations, Network equipment, Printers, Video Conferencing, Telepresence and other Audio/Visual) with respect to the Global Standard ensuring smooth operations.
Renewal/Upgrade/Replacement of Software Licensing and versions, Operating Systems, Firmware ensuring compatibility with respect to the Global Standard ensuring smooth operations.
- Management of IT infrastructure by doing proactive monitoring activities and ensure any issues are regularly communicated and escalated as appropriate.
- Analyse, understand, challenge and translate Business/GLOBE requirements into functional/technical specifications.
