Application Solution Architect - AWS - Exp: 15yrs - G6

We seek an experienced AWS Application solutions architect to design, implement, and oversee scalable, high-performance cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services platform. The ideal candidate will deeply understand AWS services, architecture best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Application modernization - Architect and design cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring they meet business requirements for scalability, security, and reliability.
• Consultation & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing cloud architecture, services, and best practices expertise.
• Migration Strategy: Lead cloud migration initiatives, including the assessment, planning, and execution of moving on-premises applications to the AWS cloud.
• Cost Management: Optimize AWS solutions for cost efficiency, ensuring the organizations cloud spend is aligned with budgetary requirements. • Security & Compliance: Design and implement AWS solutions that adhere to industry-standard security practices and compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Prototyping & Proof of Concepts: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate solutions and architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: BE preferred from NIT or equivalent.

Extensive experience in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS.

Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects.

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
• Additional AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• .net / Java expertise, Microservices architecture, AWS cloud native solutions.
• EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53, and load balancing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure data transfer.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
