We are hiring for Network Firewall Engineer for Gurugram location

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Firewall Engineer or a similar role.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies and concepts.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Knowledge of network security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, IPSec).
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.

• Experience with cloud security and virtual firewalls.

• Firewall Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain firewalls across various platforms (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Implement and enforce firewall policies and rules to control network traffic flow.
• Regularly update firewall software and
• to patch vulnerabilities and enhance security.

• Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
• Monitor firewall logs and security events to detect and respond to potential security breaches.
• Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the security team to analyze threats and vulnerabilities.

• Network Security:
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network security best practices and emerging threats.
• Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of network security policies and procedures.

• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.
• Work with other IT teams to resolve network connectivity and security problems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors as needed.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Generate reports on firewall performance, security events, and incident response activities.
