ZL Technologies is seeking a Back-End Developer whois specialized inworking on server-sidecomponents. This person will be working in Javaand will bring a depth of knowledge on basic algorithms and data structures. Day to day, you might be architecting new features for our customers, refactoring existing code to be more scalable, and seeing changes through to completion in a live environment

Role & responsibilities

Developrobust and scalable software in Java.

Design and create services and system architecture for your projects.

Build reusable code and librariesto support the application andfor future use.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in understanding the requirements, use cases and translating them into effective technical solution.

Preferred candidate profile

Essential:

10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, complex software design, high scalability and availability, optimization.

Strong in coding using DSA

Experience in developing high-quality and detailed designs.

Experience working withServer-sidecomponents in Java.

Lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.

Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.

Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.

Strong knowledge of algorithms.

A degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related engineering field.

Preferred:

Bachelor's/Masters Degree.

Experience with related open-source technologies such as Tomcat, Lucene, Zookeeper, Kafka, Netty, NoSQL DBs.

Experience building REST based API, microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge in big data and cloud technologies.

Solid understanding and working knowledge of Unix/Windows operating systems, networking, and scaling techniques.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
