Hyundai Motor India has unveiled the Creta Electric SUV, which will debut in 2025. It comes with two battery options offering a range of up to 473 km and features like Level 2 ADAS, dual 10.25-inch displays, and advanced safety functions. The Creta Electric will compete with Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6.

The Delhi government is considering banning new petrol and diesel two-wheeler registrations from August 2026 to promote electric vehicle adoption. This move is part of the Electric Vehicle Policy 2.0, which also includes the transition to electric autorickshaws and expanding EV charging infrastructure for 95% EV penetration by 2027.
