About the Role:

• Will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface using React and advanced React concepts (e.g., Context API, Hooks, Suspense)
• Build reusable, maintainable, and performant React components
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX mockups into clean and efficient code
• Work with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless front-end to back-end integration.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in React and related frontend technologies
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience working as a Frontend Developer with a focus on React
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern web development practices (HTML5, CSS3)
• In-depth knowledge of React concepts and best practices
• In-depth knowledge state management solutions (e.g., Redux with Actions, Reducers, Middleware, Store, Thunks, Redux Toolkit etc.)
• Experience with alternate state management tools (e.g. Zustand, Recoil, or Jotai) is a plus.
• Experience with testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) React Development: Proficient in core React concepts like components, props, state management, routing, and lifecycle methods.
• Experience with advanced React features like Context API, Hooks (useState, useEffect, etc.), and Suspense.
• Must have knowledge on API integrations using Fetch API and Axios with understanding of handling asynchronous requests,React Query/SWR etc.
• Ability to design and build reusable, maintainable, and well-documented React components for efficient code organization.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques in React using Lazy Loading , Memoization, Virtualisation etc.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library for writing effective unit tests.
• Experience working with code versioning tools, like Git, SVN, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
