Key Responsibilities
1. Marketo Administration and Optimization
Manage, configure, and optimize the company s Marketo instance, including user roles, permissions and segmentation.
Maintain and optimize lead scoring, lifecycle workflows, and program templates to support business objectives and improve campaign performance.
Ensure data cleanliness and proper data flow by regularly auditing the Marketo database and implementing best practices for data hygiene.
2. Campaign Execution and Automation
Collaborate with marketing teams to help them to create and implement email campaigns, drip campaigns, and lead nurture programs.
Support the development and optimisation of automated workflows, including trigger-based events, batch campaigns, and lead scoring models.
Work closely with the content team to support them to implement A/B testing, personalisation and dynamic content strategies.
3. Integration with CRM Systems
Act as the primary point of contact for Marketo-Salesforce (or other CRM) integration, ensuring accurate data flow and synchronization.
Partner with the sales operations and CRM teams to troubleshoot sync issues, data mapping, and lead routing workflows.
4. Analytics and Reporting
Help the regional marketing teams to build and maintain performance reports, providing insights on key metrics like engagement rates, MQLs, SQLs, and campaign ROI.
Aid in implementing UTM parameters and trackable links to monitor campaign effectiveness and ensure accurate attribution reporting.
Support the marketers in their use of Marketo and Google Analytics (or other tools) to deliver actionable insights on lead sources, behaviour, and conversion rates.
5. User Training and Documentation
Provide training to marketing and sales teams on Marketo functionality, campaign best practices, and reporting capabilities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Marketo processes, integrations, and troubleshooting protocols.
6. Compliance and Best Practices
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM) in all marketing activities.
Stay current on the latest marketing automation and Marketo updates, implementing best practices for multinational campaigns targeting a US-centric audience.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Marketo administration, with a track record of managing a complex Marketo instance in a B2B environment, preferably in a multinational organization.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Marketo, including advanced campaign setup, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting.
Strong understanding of Salesforce (or other CRM systems) and CRM-Marketo integration.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email customization and JavaScript for tracking scripts is a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics or other analytics platforms is preferred.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyse campaign performance data and make recommendations based on findings.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
