- Provide real-time scribing services during patient visits, accurately capturing and documenting medical encounters and diagnostic information.
- Assist in pre-charting by gathering patient history, symptoms, and other relevant information before consultations.
- Prepare and manage medical documentation including visit notes, summaries, coding, prescriptions, orders, and referrals.
- Ensure all clinical information is entered correctly into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to clarify information and follow up on pending items.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Support healthcare providers in managing their workload more efficiently, allowing them to focus more on patient care.
- Stay updated with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
Qualification
Skills Required
- Prior experience as a Live Medical Scribe.
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency in using EHR systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare processes.
- Ability to work flexibly across different time zones to accommodate US healthcare providers schedules.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
