We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Lead Dial s website using WordPress. You should be familiar with WordPress themes and plugins development and have a good understanding of website architecture.
Responsibilities:
Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
Collaborating with the design team to ensure that the website meets the specifications and requirements.
Creating and maintaining WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Performing regular updates to the WordPress core and plugins to ensure that the website is up-to-date and secure.
Optimising website performance and speed through caching, compression, and other techniques.
Integrating third-party services and APIs into WordPress websites, such as payment gateways, social media platforms, and email marketing tools, etc
Setting up and configuring WordPress hosting, including security measures and backups.
Assist in executing PR activities and influencer marketing on various platforms.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Skills:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or similar field
1 to 2 years of experience in WordPress development
Proven experience as a WordPress developer
Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
Experience with WordPress themes and plugins development)
Good understanding of website architecture and design principles
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Plus points if you are familiar with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
