Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BI Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI solutions, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT professionals to gather requirements and deliver insightful, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics.
Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications.
Design and maintain databases and data models to support BI solutions.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across BI platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues and provide ongoing support to end-users.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in BI development and data analysis.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Proficient in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
Work experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) will be an added advantage.
Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
Relevant certifications in BI or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Certification).
