Role & responsibilities

Job Requirements

Successful candidate will design, develop & fix software in the Linux Upstream WiFi stack
Engage with the Linux Upstream Community experts and ensure their changes are Upstream integrated
Ownâ€ the quality of the Upstream software
Schedule own tasks, participate in SW planning and report progress to project leader

Work Experience

Bachelorâ€™s of Masterâ€™s degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
Atleast 8 years of experience as a System Software Programmer
Expert in C programming, Linux Kernel & Device Drivers
Working knowledge of WiFi (IEEE 802.11) protocol stack
Linux Kernel Upstream experience is mandatory
Passion to work with Open-Source community
Ability to provide technical guidance & leadership to junior engineers in the team
Past track record of successful Upstreaming of Linux Kernel patches
Experience working with multi-site and cross-functional teams
