Automation architect having strong expertise in technical designing, architecting and driving implementation of efficient test and automation tools and solutions.
[Primary Skills]:
Strong understanding for QA concepts, testing techniques, automation tools and technologies.
Understanding of both functional and non-functional testing and ability to propose automation solutions to test them.
Must have at-least 8 years of technical hands on in developing automation frameworks and tools.
Strong in one of the programming languages such as python, Java, C++ etc.,
Has strong knowledge on Windows, Web, mobile and cloud testing methodologies?
Has in-depth knowledge of multiple open source/commercial tools for Web and mobile test automation.
Has working knowledge of automation frameworks, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins etc.) and infrastructure for automation solutioning.
Serves as an expert in defining and rolling out of standard Automation Frameworks, in line with latest industry trends including cloud, ML technologies, codeless automation etc.
Having competencies around DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Ability to study, understand and propose efficient test automation solutions and create state of the art assets.
Experience in providing end-to-end technical support for testing engagements.
Should have great presentation and technical documentation skills.
Ability to provide technology leadership for enhancing test automation capability at organization level.

Understanding of software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, process for test case development, test case execution, deployment, defect tracking, and test automation

As an automation architect, you are responsible for understanding the technical requirements, perform design, implement technical solutions, infrastructure, frameworks and tools needed for QA and automation projects.
Be the SME to perform feasibility study on customer requirements and provide answers to technical queries.
Mentor, guide and provide technical support to the team to implement and adopt best technology solutions in the project.
Responsible for planning and executing technical skill enhancement program for the team.
Study latest technology and propose efficient automation solutions and tools mapping to business needs.
Support and drive technical PoCs related to test and automation efficiency and productivity improvement.
Define and create technology roadmap for business team whenever applicable.
Be the technology leader and provide test and automation proposals to business teams by providing expert advice , prototyping etc.
