Union Minister Nitin Gadkari proposed that all two-wheelers in India should come with two ISI-certified helmets, supported by the Two-Wheeler Helmet Manufacturers Association. With over 69,000 deaths annually due to riders not wearing helmets, this measure aims to enhance road safety. ISI-certified helmets meet safety standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
