Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Automation & Innovation (A&I) pillar for assigned Region and is responsible for identifying areas of A&I application across Region, defining projects, gaining approvals and overseeing effective project implementation to achieve the desired objectives.

The role holder also drives motivational initiatives for innovation and guides the A&I team for achievement of functional Objectives.

Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning and deployment of the Regional A&I initiatives / projects

2. Oversee effective implementation of identified A&I projects across the region/plants

3. Drive synergies with internal and external stake holders for achievement of A&I objectives/ROI

4. Manage the team for achievement of functional objectives

Education

Masters / Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Clothing Technology or any other relevant stream

Experience

12 to 15 years experience in the engineering function, with strong experience in leading implementation of automation and innovation projects for an organization
