memorialization platform. Your primary responsibility is to work with the
Product, Infrastructure, Platform Operations, and Test Automation teams to clarify requirements and
then build the features that they specify. We use Python/Django and Node.js/Express on the back end
for our API layers and React using atomic design on the front end. Our older platforms (in maintenance
mode, mostly) use .NET. We also use technologies such as AWS, Docker, Terraform, and others.
Requirements:
NodeJS, ECMAScript, TypeScript, Python, or another similar language
At least one modern web framework (we use Django and React on this specific team, but what we care about is that you understand framework principles, including abstraction layers and not re-inventing the wheel. Other front-end and back-end
frameworks absolutely count as experience.)
SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (key-value stores such as Redis/MongoDB), and ORMs
(Django)
DevOps/Infrastructure experience including Continuous Integration (CI/CD), cloud platforms
(AWS), provisioning tools (Terraform), containers (Docker), Linux, command line (CLI, terminal, bash), and monitoring tools (Graphite, Kibana, Sentry, CloudWatch)
Working in collaborative teams and maintaining neighborly partnerships with cross-functional colleagues.
A very high degree of integrity, honesty, and discretion
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documenting your work for others

Must have Experience of e-commerce/ Fintech/ healthcare a must.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Must have - strong engineering skills, particularly strong background of Payments experience from e-commerce/ fintech/ healthcare.
Experience with complex software systems and security practices such as PCI compliance is a must.
CMS and Retail experience is a Plus, however absolute no to only content or social media experience
Client facing, Agile, ownership driven, great qualities like taking initiative and adding value.
Must have - Possible work over weekends / off hours (not always, however during releases or production critical P1/P2 issues.)
Must Have - Proactive, works with Minimum supervision. Great Collaboration and very active availability on communication channels and active participation and value add in the engineering and during meetings.
