Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Azure ADF
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain databases within the Azure environment.
Design and develop ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Perform data migration processes to or from the Azure environment.
Optimize SQL queries for performance tuning without external support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Focus Areas
Utilize various Microsoft Azure storage options including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Cosmos DB, Blob Storage.
Design efficient ETL processes using ADF to handle large datasets from multiple sources ensuring seamless integration into the enterprise data platform.
Create comprehensive data models that facilitate accurate reporting and analytics across different business units.
Continuously monitor system performance; optimize queries to ensure quick response times for end-users accessing reports or dashboards.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
relevant experience working with Azure Data Factory.
Expert level of SQL development skills.
experience in data engineering roles involving cloud-based platforms.
Key Skill Sets
Proficient in SQL with expertise in complex joins, subqueries, functions, and procedures.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Data Factory and other Azure services including Logic Apps, Functions, Storage Containers.
Experience working with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with MS SQL Server, Power BI, SSAS tabular modeling on the Azure platform is a plus.
