Lead and manage Processor logic design teams within one or more areas of functional logic design of the CPU
Manage the team, take active part in defining CPU microarchitectural features and drive their implementation and conduct design reviews to ensure key factors such as performance, power, area and cost are meeting requirements
Work continuously to improve processes related to design development and architecture definition across all areas of Processor core
Oversee and review design backlogs, verification regression results, data analysis, issue tracking, root cause analysis and drive corrective actions during implementation towards design closure
Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management and driving team results.
Drive results by inspiring people, developing the capabilities of others, resolve conflicts and ensure a productive work environment.
Provide daily technical guidance to the team to implement designs in RTL and execute design flow to tape out designs to meet schedules.
Manage the design team in cross functional meetings, prepare team status, manage hiring
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of collective technical and managerial creative experience in Semiconductor industry
3+ years as a leader / manager of people
Understanding and experience in management of at least 1 generation of Processor/ASIC/SOC/IP project development life cycle (Hands-on Logic Design or Functional Verification or Physical design experience required)
