Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of complex software systems, working with modern cloud technologies and databases. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development, cloud services, and container orchestration, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed systems using Go (preferred), or .NET/Java.

Architect and optimize databases such as DynamoDB, Postgres, Aurora, and RDS (Expert level).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native applications using AWS services.

Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools to deploy and scale applications.

Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

Mentor junior engineers and help improve overall team performance and capabilities.

Must-Have Skills:

Go (preferred), or .NET/Java (Practitioner level).

Expert-level experience with DynamoDB, Postgres, Aurora, and RDS.

Proficiency in Angular (Practitioner level).

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services such as Lambda and SQS (Practitioner level).

Familiarity with modern development tools such as Goland, Lens, Minikube, Kubectl, Kustomize.
