Role & responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial projections.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Develop and implement performance management systems to measure and improve team productivity.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and internal controls.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audits and timely resolution of audit findings.
• Strategic Partnerships:
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and HR, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with banks, investors, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• 3+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
