Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Lead to oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt, container orchestration with Kubernetes, Helm charts, CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, and ArgoCD, as well as strong experience in automation, product packaging, and customer deployments. This role is pivotal in driving the operational excellence of our products and ensuring seamless customer deployment experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
   
   
   
   
   • Design, develop, and maintain reusable and modular IaC frameworks using Terraform and Terragrunt.
   
   
   • Define and implement best practices for IaC, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.
   
   
   
   

1. Container Orchestration:
   
   
   
   
   • Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters for development, testing, and production environments.
   
   
   • Develop and manage Helm charts for deployment and configuration of containerized applications.
   
   
   
   

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management:
   
   
   
   
   • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, and ArgoCD to automate application build, test, and deployment processes.
   
   
   • Enhance deployment workflows for better speed, security, and reliability.
   
   
   
   

1. Automation:
   
   
   
   
   • Drive end-to-end automation of infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and monitoring processes.
   
   
   • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and availability standards through automated processes.
   
   
   
   

1. Product Packaging Deployment:
   
   
   
   
   • Develop deployment solutions that streamline product packaging for seamless delivery to customers.
   
   
   • Lead efforts to standardize deployment methodologies and documentation for customer environments.
   
   
   
   

1. Customer Deployment Support:
   
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure efficient deployments in diverse client environments.
   
   
   • Provide hands-on support for critical deployments and troubleshoot issues as needed.
   
   
   
   

1. Monitoring Performance Optimization:
   
   
   
   
   • Implement robust monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime of deployed environments.
   
   
   • Perform regular audits of the infrastructure and deployments to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
   
   
   
   

1. Team Leadership Collaboration:
   
   
   
   
   • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
   
   
   • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align DevOps practices with business goals.
   
   
   
   

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.


• Proven experience leading DevOps initiatives and managing teams.


• Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, Terragrunt).


• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and Helm charts.


• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).


• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or equivalent.


• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).


• Experience with version control systems and workflows (Git).


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.


• A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering value and satisfaction.

Preferred Skills Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Familiarity with security best practices for DevOps.


• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
