Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in building and integrating RESTful APIs, and a proven track record of working with cloud-based applications.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience: 5-10 years of overall software development experience.
Specialized Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience developing RESTful API endpoints, building custom integrations, and writing API documentation.
Proficient in Python and Django framework.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including experience with containers, API gateways, cloud computing, and cloud storage.
Strong knowledge of TDD principles and experience in writing test cases.
Ability to design and optimize API flows for performance and scalability.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API endpoints to support integration with 3rd party applications and services.
Build custom integrations between software products using REST APIs.
Write comprehensive test cases and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Create detailed API documentation for internal and external use.
Develop and optimize cloud-based applications leveraging containerization, API gateways, cloud computing, and cloud storage solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications/design documents.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with secure coding practices and implementing security standards within the development lifecycle.
