Develop and implement a migration strategy to transition on-premises CMS systems to MACH compliant cloud-based solutions, adhering to composability principles.
Identify opportunities to incorporate the new CMS platform into existing monolithic applications, optimizing integration points to enhance functionality and streamline content management.
Design scalable and high-performance cloud solutions to integrate CMS with cloud-based search systems, optimizing page content configuration.
Identify opportunities to leverage caching features for improved site speed and develop effective invalidation patterns to optimize data updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, IT, and Digital, to ensure search solutions align with client business needs.
Define workflows for cloud-based CMS solutions and enhance business capabilities through comprehensive training.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity and establish guidelines for effective content enrichment.
Provide thought leadership on technology solutions to drive organizational and client growth.
Recommend and implement best practices for taxonomy, categorization, and SEO in product data.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions to effectively evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies that can enhance the organizations capabilities leading to increased opportunities with the clients.
Ensure data standards meet industry norms, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Support the creation of business proposals and assist with RFP reviews and responses.
Skills required to contribute:
Hands-on (Must have) 15+ years of working experience:
15+ years of experience with a strong focus on CMS systems within e-commerce solutions, including both on-premises and cloud-based environments, over the past 5-7 years.
Experience with CMS platform like Contentstack is preferred however knowledge on similar MACH/SaaS systems like Amplience, ContentFul will also be good.
Proven expertise in migrating eCommerce applications from monolithic architectures to MACH-based composable architectures, with a specialization in CMS use cases and integrations.
Experience in product enrichment, workflow definition, taxonomy development, and integration with systems such as search providers.
Proficiency in developing cloud-based solutions using various data integration patterns, with a preference for AWS, and familiarity with GCP or Azure.
Knowledge of Oracle ATG Endeca XM is an added benefit.
Experience in creating event-driven data solutions using messaging systems or middleware, such as Kafka.
Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce platform operations.
Insight into best SEO practices and their application.
Experience with data integration tools (e.g., ETL) to support business teams.
Proficiency in managing and querying large datasets in relational databases, such as AWS RDS or Oracle.
Experience in data monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch, X ray
Proficient in developing scalable No-SQL databases e.g., AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB.
Working experience with REST, SOAP is must.
Experience with API management solutions (e.g., Amazon API Gateway, IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Azure) tailored for the retail vertical and implemented across various customers.
Ability to provide strategic direction to business and IT teams on best practices for search use cases.
Excellent technical, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with significant client interaction experience.
