Position - AWS DevOps Engineer

Location - Pune/ Gurgaon/ Hyderabad/ Hybrid

Experience - 6+ years



Responsibilities:

Provide robust support and maintenance for data workflows, with a focus on
automation, monitoring and troubleshooting using AWS Step Functions and
CloudFormation.
Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline
deployment processes and ensure smooth data pipeline operations.
Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to understand data pipeline
requirements, providing DevOps support for AWS-based data infrastructure.
Develop and optimize automated scripts and processes using Python to
enhance data workflows and support data engineers with reliable and scalable
solutions.
Implement and manage AWS infrastructure with a focus on security, data
governance, and compliance best practices.
Conduct performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements
to ensure efficient pipeline operations in AWS environments.
Set up and configure AWS services, including but not limited to
CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, and Glue, to maintain data consistency, quality,
and security.Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in data engineering or DevOps roles with a strong
focus on AWS.
Advanced expertise in AWS Step Functions, CloudFormation, Lambda and S3 for
workflow automation and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
Strong Python programming skills to develop, maintain and optimize
automated scripts and workflows.
Familiarity with AWS Glue, Redshift and Lake Formation for data pipeline
and data lake support.
Experience in implementing data governance, security and compliance within
cloud environments.
Mandatory Requirement: Availability to work EST hours to support
cross-functional teams effectively.Good to Have Skills:

Experience with SonarQube for code quality and security checks.
Knowledge of additional AWS services such as Athena, DynamoDB and RDS.
Familiarity with AWS cost optimization practices to ensure efficient cloud
resource usage.Education: Minimum of 15 years of formal education - BE/BTech or
Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
