About The Role

Observability Platform derives intelligent alerts out of the Logs and Metrics

It is composed of multiple areas and domains Apache Druid, Logging Platform

This is a unique domain which consists of a distributed system, application layer and platform layer

This domain helps establish Observability as a key pillar for Confluent’s long term success and a reason for customers to buy Confluent over competition!

What You Will Do

Build mission-critical backend services that deliver value to our customers

You will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, developing and operationalizing high performance, scalable, reliable and resilient services

No need to edit font name or size anymore!

Troubleshoot and debug technical issues inside a deep and complex technical stack that includes microservices, containers, and virtualization

Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the availability and performance SLA commitments to our customers

Conceive innovative new solutions for our customers, at the intersection of multiple fields: stream processing, Big Data and analytics

What You Will Bring

Minimum of 1+ years of software development experience

Experience in enterprise-scale software development

!

Experience running production services in the cloud

Experience fixing scalability and reliability issues at Cloud scale

Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience

An advanced degree in computer science is preferred
