Respond to cyber attacks in real time

As Security Architect, you'll engage in critical network and attack-related events for Akamai's managed security customers

Help identify real time cyber-attacks, strategize & deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users

As a Security Architect , you will be responsible for:

Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform

Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network

Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis

Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement

Being a good advocate to customer centricity during day-to-day operations & incidents

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Obtain relevant industry experience on primarily networking OR Akamai Platform OR Web application Security

Have an in-depth understanding of networking fundamentals; Basic networking, TCP, IP, UDP

Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS

HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols

Need to have a common understanding on OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise/attacks

Need to demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent collaboration & team work

Have passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies and problem solving
