To work as part of customer facing project team, providing consultancy services and industry best practice business expertise to ensure successful and high-quality project implementations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in successful project implementations.
Designs, drafts, and revises moderately complex test plans and test strategy with an understanding of software processes from the customers perspective.
Performs risk assessments. Assists with the review of standards and procedures, process improvement initiatives, and monitoring/reporting system metrics.
Identifies and makes recommendations for application modifications and changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality initiatives.
Evaluates end-user requirements, software test criteria, and existing manual tests to determine where automation can be appropriately and effectively applied.
Plans, develops, and maintains a wide range of moderately complex manual quality tests and analyses to ensure software functions according to specified standards and end-user requirements.
Uses test utilities to generate and prepare test data.
Executes automated and manual tests according to established test plans and specifications, interprets results, documents defects and issues, engages in root cause analysis and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others.
Uses existing procedures to solve problems.
Works on sub portions of projects using knowledge developed through education or experience. Contributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years’ Testing experience with Strong Functional knowledge on any ERP or D365 Finance Operations Modules (AP, AR, Sales, Procuring, Manufacturing, Inventory and Warehouse Management, General accounting, Master planning, Production, manufacturing, Banking, Project accounting, Workflows) and Retail
Knowledge of RSAT Tool or any other ERP automation tools.
Strong Knowledge on testing concepts. ( STLC,UAT, Integration/E2E Testing, Regression Test, Bug lifecycle, functional Test )
Experience in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall software development methodologies and types of testing (e.g., Functional, System Integration, Regression etc)
Strong communication skills and customer facing.
Guide functional team w.r.t test case preparation, clarify functional and testing queries.
Develop and execute manual scripts for requirement validation, functional, integration, regression.
Derive Testcases and Test scenarios from FDD.
Assist the test team in the development of all testing-related documentation including Test Cases/scripts, Test Data, Defect Management, Test Plan and Test Summary Report
Develop Yourself and Columbus
Keep up to date with changes/developments in the software and in industry best practices, through self-learning, training and research.
Keep up to date with the development of the Digital offerings and all relevant associated products.
Provide support to your peers, your project team and the wider Columbus team for your specific areas of expertise.
Contribute to the continuous development of your team, the Company and the Group organization, through knowledge sharing.
