About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development, along with proven skills in design and estimation. This role involves leading the development of scalable applications, designing effective solutions, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Lead design and architecture efforts for scalable applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Estimation & Planning: Provide accurate time and effort estimates for development tasks, and contribute to resource planning.
• Coding & Implementation: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code in Python.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and deliver solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentorship: Guide junior developers by providing technical leadership and code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years of overall software development experience, with a minimum of 4+ years dedicated to Python.
• Design & Estimation: Demonstrated experience in designing solutions and estimating project requirements and timelines.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and leadership capabilities.
