Technical Specialist would be part of the India Infrastructure Services team who will support a particular Sony region for the end user related services. As a key contributor, you will have a strong technical background in designing, implementing, and managing M365 and AD infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our M365, Exchange, AD and Azure AD environments, ensuring their stability, security and scalability.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in M365 Services area like SPO, OD, Exchange, Microsoft Groups, Teams, Power apps etc.
Extensive experience in data migrations, tenant to tenant, file share to tenant, On-premises to tenant, Google Suite to Tenant, File Share, PST to the M365 tenants.
Good troubleshooting skills during the migrations, Timely updates to customer, vendor management.
Strong understanding of Migrations tools like AvePoint Fly, Sharegate, Quest migration manager etc.
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, such as SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
Strong understanding of designing and configuring SharePoint online, OneDrive site architecture, permissions management, and content organization. Which includes managing site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows to optimize user experience.
Proven experience in implementing MS Teams Solutions, Microsoft teams’ administration including Teams settings, Policies and features and Microsoft Teams voice administration, including Direct Routing, Calling Plans, and phone system configuration.
Good Analytical skills and Team management during the migrations and providing constant update to the customers.
Good documentation skills and keeping the document repository up to date. Skill to Find out the opportunity to create a new document.
Strong knowledge of Administrating the Dynamic 365 and Power Platforms, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, ensuring optimal configuration and usage.
Good knowledge in the other cloud services like Microsoft Azure, Conditional Access policies, Exchange online and etc.
Proven expertise in PowerShell commands, scripting, and automation for on premise and cloud.
Proven experience in security and compliance for both on premise and cloud especially in identity and collaboration services.
Experience working with various levels of technical individuals at remote locations and manage OEM vendors to resolve problems.
Experience in Incident, Problem and Change management processes.
Drive efficiency through automation, leverage self-service provisioning capability.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to architect and troubleshoot complex solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as SME for the Data migrations team. Good experience in handling the migration tools including but not limited to AvePoint Fly, Sharegate, quest migration manager.
Serve as an SME for Microsoft 365 services - including but not limited to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Teams Voice, Viva suits, Power Platforms Dynamic 365, Azure AD etc.
Manage the Migrations related to Exchange, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, M365 groups, Teams channel, Teams one to one chat, File share, PST to the Production tenant.
Perform testing for the newly introduced features in the tool and keep the environment updated with latest patches and make sure of right utilization.
Create, assure quality, and manage the document library for all the data migration related services.
Troubleshoot the issues during the migration, coordinating the operating companies and vendor.
Manage Microsoft SharePoint online and OneDrive, including site collections, document library, lists, Organization policies by following organizations security guidelines. Implementing and Administering the Migration strategies.
Provide expert support for designing and troubleshooting issues for complex problems related to Microsoft 365 services SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
Provide expertise in managing Microsoft 365 services Teams, Teams voice including Direct routing, Call planning and Phone system configuration.
Conduct assessments, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide recommendations for enhancing the performance, security, and scalability of the M365 services infrastructure Majorly in SPO, OD, MS Teams and other collaboration services along with Power platforms.
Evaluate new technologies, conduct proof of concepts (POCs), and make recommendations for integrating innovative solutions to drive efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and integrations related to Microsoft 365 service.
Provide root-cause analysis for recurring or critical problems. Must be able to prepare technical and process documentations.
Provide guidance and support to end-users on Microsoft 365 services, resolving their technical issues, and delivering effective training and documentation as needed.
