Role & responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing Data Storage systems and development of Data Solutions in Snowflake.
• Experience in working on migrating data from on-premises databases and files to AWS S3 data lake and Snowflake.
• Design pipelines for Data Migration from on-prem to Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of ELT/ETL and integration concepts and design best practices.
• Extensive work experience in DBT, Airflow, and Python
• Build new or improve existing data warehouse using dimensional modeling.
• Identify areas of improvement; determine solutions; implement enhancements/changes to improve operations, standards, and results
• Improvement of data validation technique es, building a common framework for data governance and validation.

Required Competencies:

• Experience in SnowSQL and, Snowpipe, Snowpark.
• Expert-level knowledge in Data modeling and data integration.
• Experience in implementing CICD for Snowflake data pipelines.
• Experience in data sharing and marketplace
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related fields.
• 12-15 years of experience working with SQL and relational data
• Strong knowledge and experience in designing and building cloud-native data and analytics solutions.
• SnowPro Core Certification must have.
• Should be able to promote code between environments.
• Should be able to debug issues during development, testing and production
• Good Knowledge on any two of cloud service provider (AWS/Azure/GCP) services preferred.
• Should act as an interface between clients & other technical stakeholders. Must be able to Analyze and document business requirements.
