Provide Level 3 support for WebSphere Application Server environments, including installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Experience in implementation project with building and providing consulting to manage the Middleware stack for complex architecture.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks related to WebSphere environments.
Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and apply patches as necessary.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support for critical production issues as required.
Provide support and participate in the CAB and change control process.
Experience in OS platforms (Linux, Windows, WebSphere, VTOM, Tomcat, mRemoteNG.) and have expertise on Linux Server and Application Management
Set up monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk to gain insights into WebSphere performance and operational metrics.
Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate routine tasks, deployments, and configuration changes.
Participate in DevOps practices such as automated testing, continuous monitoring, and iterative development to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Skills:
IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server.
Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Microsoft AZURE Cloud certifications) are advantageous.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and certification preferred to ensure adherence to industry best practices and service management standards.
