Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Astra), including object-based databases, to build scalable and resilient cloud-native architectures.
Implement robust security measures using OAuth and other authentication/authorization protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from design to deployment.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices and service meshes using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Istio.
Utilize Netflix OSS tools (e.g., Eureka, Hystrix, Zuul) to build reliable and fault-tolerant microservices.
Implement data processing pipelines using AWS Big Data services (e.g., EMR, Kinesis, Redshift).
Develop reusable software components with a focus on generic usage and maintainability.
Implement application monitoring and instrumentation using tools like OpenSearch and Prometheus.
Monitor and optimize application performance using tools like Logstash and cloud-native monitoring solutions.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments

4+ years of eCommerce development and/or operations experience.
Demonstrated experience in application design, software development, testing and production support of Java-J2EE based
eCommerce applications.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE and thorough understanding of JSON, JavaScript, CSS.
Experience with NoSQL database technologies such as Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Mongo DB or CouchDB.
Experience with one of the Cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Desired Skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience developing Java applications.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Astra, etc.), including object-based databases.
Knowledge of microservices architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and service meshes.
