We are looking for a Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst/Engineer, you will play a key role in helping the organization make data-driven decisions by analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and creating actionable reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, a keen eye for detail. This role requires strong technical expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of data modeling, storage, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
Reporting Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that summarize key performance metrics (KPIs) and business insights for different teams and stakeholders.
Data Cleansing Transformation: Work with raw data, clean it, and perform necessary transformations to make it suitable for analysis.
Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support specific business initiatives, product development, or marketing campaigns.
Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze key business metrics, identify anomalies, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Documentation: Document analysis processes, methodologies, and insights in a clear and organized manner for internal reference.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
6+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle).
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) and experience with creating dashboards and reports.
Strong experience with spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including advanced functions like pivot tables and macros.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus
Experience with data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to business intelligence (BI) tools and workflows.
Experience working with large, complex datasets and performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of data lakes, real-time data processing, and event-driven architectures.
